Theories, Studies, and Obfuscation
My 'theories' basically describe my reasoning behind why I got the results I got. I've been gathering information on energy, mood, exercise, health, and fitness for a couple of years to use in arguments supporting the usefulness of my approach for the average person. The resulting theories are the result of matching that information with my own results. Their function is to provide the rationale behind a pattern of behavior that will result in predictable results.

When I speak in absolute terms, keep in mind I'm talking about my own experience and people I've known over the last 40 years or so. I think most of what I've found to be helpful should hold true for most people, but I have no way of knowing. That's one reason everything on this site is free. I hope I help people, but I can hardly charge them for validating ideas that have worked for me and seem to have scientific validity, but with no proof they work for anyone other than me.

'Studies' are descriptions or links to research and surveys. Some of them make sense and provide useful information. Of those some get reported accurately but most get glossed over or distorted. Some are just stupid and a waste of money. I show them here mostly to convince you that you don't have to be a statistic, or at least a bad one. Don't feel doomed to being on the bad end of the statistics, take action to be on the good end. Tilt the field in your favor.
