Home JumpRock and More Workout Videos Theories History I'm Beggin' Ya
Note: Videos hosted by Photobucket. If video does not appear click here to refresh. Click here to check Photobucket status. WMV files should still work.  As of April 11 one of the Photobucket accounts will expire. Haven't had time to track down the videos that will die. Will fix when they become self-evident
  • The video quality of this clip bites more than usual. I'll try to replace it soon.
  • Jump on a firm but not hard surface. Exercise mats with a pebbled, irregular surface pattern seem to work best.
  • Avoid gaps between mats where you could catch the edge of your foot.
  • Shoes should be sturdy with narrow profile, plenty of toe room, and firm arch support.
  • Swivel handles are nice, but 'speed' ropes are adequate and more practical.
  • Replace the cord before it wears thin or you'll have trouble adjusting to a new one.
  • I forgot to demonstrate how to determine cord length. Stand on the middle of the rope, the handles should come to about your armpits.
  • Weighted hoops are great, but beware bruising. Others without the 'bumps' may be available that I'm not aware of.
  • Learn Heavy Hula Hands one step at a time, careful with the weights. Start with the smallest available.
  • Powerballs seem to work, but you'll have to judge for yourself.
